Wow, these seasons just keep on rolling right around! I always find it refreshing to come up with new plans for the months ahead. There are so many good things out there to be enjoyed. I am also leaving my job at the end of this month, after more than four years there. It’s going to allow me a lot more time to do all the things that I love like homemaking, getting outdoors, reading, baking and blogging! Bit of a dream come true for a homebody like me. Anyway, here is a list of all the things I’d like to do between now and the end of November…
Go blackberrying. Make Jumbleberry Jam and Triple Berry Crumble. Buy posh cupcakes on our wedding anniversary and eat them somewhere pretty in London. Go and see my Grandad by the coast in Wales.
- Read ‘The Rosie Effect’ (after becoming completely besotted with ‘The Rosie Project’. )
Go for a walk somewhere with beautiful autumn leaves.
- Defrost the fridge and freezer. This is having to be transferred from my Summer To Do List. I sort of forgot/procrastinated and impressive stalactites have grown.
Create a workable cleaning schedule. Try to bake something once a week and be a bit bolder with what I pick.
- Get a shower squeegee that can be used after every shower to make cleaning the shower a bit less arduous.
- Make an autumnal table setting. I’m not very good at this sort of thing but like the idea.
Host Clare’s hen party. Go on a little holiday to Alderney, in the Channel Islands. Buy as many Christmas presents as possible (am I allowed to mention Christmas yet?) Start my Happiness Project with Nicola, my sister-in-law-to-be. Learn some more photography skills – there is such a lot to learn.
What will you be doing to enjoy the autumn delights?
